Kathryn Hulbert is a neurodivergent Certified Child Life Specialist who loves camp! Before starting her full-time role as Outreach Coordinator for North Star Reach, Kathryn had the privilege of serving as seasonal staff at Double H Ranch, Camp Pegnita, Round Up River Ranch, and Camp Say. Kathryn also served as a psychosocial volunteer at a variety of camps serving children with oncology diagnoses. Her first child life role included adaptive care at Children’s Nebraska. For her evidenced-based master’s project, Kathryn focused on meeting the needs of neurodiverse patients in a hospital setting. Kathryn believes camp is powerful and is excited to use her voice to promote understanding and belonging.
